Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ChinaBrandPath collects, uses, stores and shares business information submitted through the platform.

Operator and data controller: Jinhua Wozan Technology Co., Ltd., Jinhua, Zhejiang, China 321000. Contact: [email protected].

Information we collect

We collect information you submit in business forms, including name, position, company, contact details, market, product, commercial capability, investment ranges, target brand or sourcing requirements, and any files or messages you send. We also store the source URL, conversion context, timestamps, consent records and limited technical data needed to prevent abuse.

Purposes and legal bases

We use this information to review and respond to enquiries, assess business fit, operate the selected service path, prevent spam or duplicate submissions, keep audit records and improve the platform. We do not sell personal information. The usual bases are steps toward a potential contract, our legitimate interest in operating a B2B matching platform, and consent where you opt into a specific use such as the Distributor Network or the newsletter.

Retention

Business enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to review the request, continue a relevant conversation, demonstrate consent or meet legal and accounting duties. Inactive enquiry records are normally reviewed after 36 months. Newsletter confirmation requests that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days. Unsubscribe and consent evidence may be kept longer so we can honour suppression requests.

Recipients

Access is limited to the ChinaBrandPath operating team and service providers who host the website, email or infrastructure under our instructions. We do not publish application records on the website. Relevant business information is shared with a potential cooperation party only when that sharing is needed to evaluate a specific opportunity and the conditions below are met.

Sharing with a target brand

ChinaBrandPath does not automatically send your application to a brand, supplier or other third party. Before we share your company profile or assessment materials with a named target brand, we will tell you what will be shared and why. You may ask us not to share, or to limit what is shared, unless we are legally required to disclose information.

Distributor Network consent

The optional Distributor Network checkbox is separate from the required privacy agreement. If you select it, we may retain a qualified distributor profile and consider it for other relevant Chinese brand opportunities after the original brand request does not proceed. We store the consent version, scope and timestamp. You can withdraw this permission later. After withdrawal we stop new matching uses of that profile.

Brand-page questions remain moderated comments and also create a linked private enquiry for human review. Explicit distribution or representation requests are classified separately from product and purchase enquiries. This classification never contacts a brand, sends outreach or grants representation automatically.

Internal scoring

If ChinaBrandPath uses an internal qualification score, that score only assists a human reviewer. It does not grant brand authorization, promise a meeting or automatically reject an application. A human reviewer remains responsible for the next step.

Opportunity assessments and paid mandates

If you enter a paid opportunity assessment or representation mandate, we may create private project records containing the agreed scope, target brand, market, requested rights, capability evidence, commercial terms, approvals, meeting or negotiation notes, document references and milestone status. These records are used only to deliver, govern, audit and account for the selected service. Contact information and private documents are not made public.

Before applicant information is shared with a brand, or brand-confidential information is shared with an applicant, a human reviewer checks that the disclosure is relevant to the agreed project and permitted for that stage. No model or automated score decides that disclosure by itself.

International transfers

The platform is operated from China and may be accessed by international business users. Information you submit may be stored and processed in China and, where a service provider or a potential cooperation party is located elsewhere, in that party’s country. By submitting a business enquiry you acknowledge this cross-border processing. We limit transfers to what the selected service path requires.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you; withdraw consent for optional uses such as the Distributor Network or newsletter; and ask us to restrict or object to certain processing. Send requests to [email protected]. We may need to verify the requester and retain limited records where the law requires it.

Location-based market recommendations

Cloudflare may derive a country code from your network IP address. ChinaBrandPath uses that country code only to prioritize your country and nearby markets on the homepage and market directory. This feature does not expose or store your full IP address. If you choose another market, that preference is stored only in your browser.

Website analytics

We use Independent Analytics to understand page views, visits, referring sources, general visitor geography and device information. It runs on this website and stores its reports locally.

Google Analytics is optional and is not loaded until you select “Allow analytics”. If allowed, Google may set analytics cookies and receive page-view, engagement, device, approximate location and conversion-event information. We disable advertising storage, Google Signals and advertising-personalisation signals in this implementation. You can reject optional analytics or change your choice at any time through the “Privacy choices” button. Rejecting analytics does not affect forms or website functionality.

Our first-party, privacy-focused analytics stores daily aggregate counts for page path, authored page region, CTA category, scroll threshold, broad device type and language. It does not store click coordinates, selector trails, form fields, input text, cookies, IP addresses, user agents, visitor IDs or session replay. Do Not Track disables this browser-side collection. Aggregate rows are retained for 180 days.

Leadfeeder Web Visitors is also optional and is not loaded until you select “Allow analytics”. If allowed, Leadfeeder may receive an anonymised network address, referring source, pages viewed and visit timing in order to match a visit to a company and estimate company-level intent. We do not call Leadfeeder’s individual identify function, connect email, or enable automatic CRM outreach. Its browser identifier is limited to 90 days, and any company-level summaries imported into ChinaBrandPath are retained for no more than 90 days unless a shorter legal or operational period applies. Leadfeeder acts as a service provider for this processing. You can reject or later withdraw optional analytics without affecting forms or website functionality.

Email newsletter

Newsletter signup is optional and separate from business enquiries. If you opt in, we store your email address, consent wording and version, source page, timestamps, subscription status and any stated topic interest. We use Brevo to send the confirmation email and newsletter campaigns.

You are subscribed only after confirming by email. Every campaign provides an unsubscribe option. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after 30 days; unsubscribe and consent records may be retained where needed to honour suppression requests and demonstrate compliance.
