International importers looking for Chinese brands should separate two questions: which product categories suit their market, and which named brands publish a current route for wholesale, dealer or distributor enquiries. A promising category is not proof that a specific brand is appointing partners.
This updated guide preserves the original six-category screening framework and adds three named brands whose official websites published a relevant business route when checked on 13 August 2026. UGREEN, EcoFlow and PETKIT control their own eligibility review, territory, quotation, channel permissions and contract. A public route does not guarantee approval, availability or exclusivity.
Verified public routes at a glance
| Brand and route | Relevant partner profile | What is public | What still requires confirmation |
|---|---|---|---|
| UGREEN wholesale programme | Independent retailers, corporate buyers and eligible ecommerce sellers | Online application, wholesale email, tiered pricing language and channel restrictions | Approval, exact MOQ, quotation, stock origin, shipping cost and permission for the intended channel |
| EcoFlow UK dealer programme | Energy, electrical, outdoor, RV, retail and installer businesses serving the United Kingdom | Registration, eligibility review, commercial discussion and contract process | Applicant eligibility, product scope, territory, pricing, service duties and final agreement |
| PETKIT distributor enquiry | Pet-care importers, specialist retailers and ecommerce operators | Distributor email, B2B account route and a non-exclusive authorized-dealer framework | Available territory, product range, order terms, local compliance, warranty and service responsibility |
What the verified list means
A public partner programme means the brand publishes a current business application or dealer process. An official distributor contact means the brand publishes a channel-specific contact, but availability still requires a direct reply. Neither label means ChinaBrandPath represents the brand or can approve an appointment.
General export activity, a trade-show appearance, an ecommerce contact form or an editorial profile is not enough to place a brand in the verified table. The route must appear on an official brand-controlled website and still needs product-, territory- and channel-specific confirmation.
Six Chinese brand categories to screen
The categories below help an importer define a search. They do not claim that every brand in the category is recruiting distributors. Start with local demand and channel capability, then verify each named brand through its current official route.
1. Beauty and personal care
Skincare, cosmetics, haircare, personal-care tools, beauty devices and fragrance can suit pharmacy, beauty-specialty, salon, department-store and ecommerce channels. Before contacting a brand, define the destination rules for ingredients, claims, labelling and product registration, then ask for the exact legal seller, product list and territory status.
2. Consumer electronics and accessories
Mobile accessories, charging products, audio, gaming accessories and other connected devices require channel-specific pricing, certification evidence, warranty handling and a clear marketplace policy. UGREEN is the verified example in this category, but its public wholesale route is not evidence that every country, product or online channel is open.
3. Electric mobility and charging
E-bikes, scooters, electric motorcycles, charging equipment and battery-related products can create material service and compliance obligations. A distributor should require evidence for the exact model, battery transport, destination approval, spare parts and repair path before treating export activity as a distributable opportunity.
4. Home appliances, smart living and energy
Kitchen appliances, cleaning products, air treatment, smart-home devices and residential or portable energy products often need local stock, technical support and dependable warranty ownership. EcoFlow provides a verified United Kingdom dealer route; the country-specific application must not be generalized to other markets or every EcoFlow product family.
5. Food and beverage
Snacks, tea drinks, condiments, instant foods and specialty products depend on shelf life, ingredients, destination labelling, importer registration and channel fit. A brand website or export catalogue is not a distributor invitation. Confirm the current contracting entity, target-market availability and product-specific import evidence before discussing volume.
6. Lifestyle, pet and specialty retail
Toys, collectibles, stationery, gifts, home accessories and connected pet products can fit specialty retail and ecommerce. PETKIT is the verified example here: it publishes a distributor email, B2B area and authorized-dealer framework, while territory and account acceptance remain subject to PETKIT review.
Three official routes reviewed
UGREEN: a public wholesale route, not an automatic distributorship
UGREEN is a Shenzhen-founded consumer technology brand covering charging, connectivity, audio-visual accessories and storage. Its official wholesale page accepts applications from independent retailers, online sellers and corporate buyers.
The page describes tiered pricing, flexible order quantities, global warehouse options, after-sales care and marketing help. It also states that third-party Amazon resale is prohibited. The FAQ says there is no fixed MOQ, while the current application form asks for a quantity of at least 10 units; this should be treated as a prompt to request a product- and market-specific quotation, not as a universal MOQ.
Advance when: you can name the products, destination, quantity, order frequency and intended sales channel. Stop or clarify when: your model depends on Amazon resale, undocumented territory rights or a margin calculated before shipping, tax, returns and warranty costs.
EcoFlow: a defined United Kingdom dealer process
EcoFlow publishes a UK dealer application for businesses working with portable power, home energy, outdoor, RV and related energy solutions. Its official process moves from registration to eligibility review, commercial discussion, contract review and approved-partner onboarding.
EcoFlow states that approved partners may receive technical, marketing, sales and after-sales training support. The public route is country-specific: it should not be used as evidence that another territory is open or that one application covers every EcoFlow product family.
Advance when: your company has relevant customers, technical or installer capability and a credible UK coverage plan. Confirm before ordering: legal seller, product line, dealer territory, stock location, warranty workflow, training obligations and measurable service support.
PETKIT: a distributor contact and B2B dealer framework
PETKIT publishes a distributor-enquiry email and a B2B account area. Its official authorized-dealer agreement describes a non-exclusive appointment within a territory determined by PETKIT, subject to an accepted dealer account and the agreement in force.
This is stronger evidence than a general contact form, but it still does not prove that a particular country or channel is available. PETKIT already lists official distributors in a number of markets, so an applicant should check current coverage and explain the incremental channel or geography it can serve.
Advance when: you can show pet-specialty channels, ecommerce execution and a plan for connected-product support. Confirm before ordering: territory, authorized SKUs, pricing, marketplace rules, app and data support, local product obligations, consumables, returns and warranty ownership.
Choose the market before approaching a brand
The original guide highlighted Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, South Asia and selected European markets as areas importers often investigate. Treat those regions as search starting points, not proof of open territories. A credible enquiry names the target country, cities, customer segment, retail price, sales channels and local service model.
Use the international market guides to define destination-specific channel and operating questions before asking a brand for national or regional rights.
What brands need to see in a distributor
A serious applicant is more than a buyer. The company should be able to show relevant sales channels, local market knowledge, import and compliance capability, warehousing or fulfilment, marketing execution, after-sales support, financial capacity and a focused category plan.
Those capabilities do not guarantee appointment. They make the first enquiry specific enough for the brand to assess fit, conflicts, territory coverage and the support required.
How to verify whether a distributor opportunity is real
- Open the current official route. Confirm that the page or address is on the brand-controlled domain and record the review date.
- Name the legal counterparty. The website operator, contracting seller, manufacturer and payment beneficiary may be different entities.
- Ask whether your exact territory and channel are available. A global form is not evidence of country exclusivity, and a dealer route may exclude marketplaces or named accounts.
- Freeze the product scope. Request model numbers, price basis, MOQ, stock origin, lead time and documents for the destination market.
- Assign service responsibility. Put returns, warranty labour, replacement freight, spare parts, customer support and recalls into the commercial model.
- Use a controlled pilot. Test sell-through, gross margin, return rate, support load and reorder intent before discussing a larger territory commitment.
How to find additional brands without creating a false shortlist
Trade shows, industry directories, brand websites and distributor-opportunity databases can all produce leads. Use them for discovery, then promote a brand to an actionable shortlist only after locating a current official business route and confirming the intended market and channel directly.
Browse the current distributor opportunities separately from the broader Chinese brand directory. A brand profile supports evaluation; it does not by itself mean an appointment is available.
What a serious first enquiry should include
- Legal company name, website, registration country and primary contact.
- Target country, cities or customer segment rather than a vague regional claim.
- Current retail, wholesale, installer or ecommerce channels and named account types.
- Relevant brands and categories already handled, with any channel conflicts disclosed.
- Products of interest, indicative first quantity and expected annual potential.
- Import, compliance, warehousing, localization and after-sales capability.
- A 60- to 90-day launch or pilot proposal with measurable outcomes.
If you do not yet have this information, use the brand and company verification hub and the brand evaluation scorecard before requesting exclusivity.
Decision checklist
- The route is on a current official brand-controlled website.
- The brand has confirmed the exact country, channel and product scope.
- The legal seller, payment beneficiary and warranty owner are identified.
- MOQ, price basis, stock origin, shipping and lead time are written down.
- Compliance, returns, spare parts and customer support have named owners.
- The first order is a bounded pilot with measurable advance, revise or stop criteria.
FAQ
Which Chinese brands publish distributor or wholesale routes in 2026?
UGREEN, EcoFlow and PETKIT publish the official wholesale, dealer or distributor routes described above. The routes were checked on 13 August 2026, but each brand must confirm current territory, product and channel availability.
Which product categories should an importer screen?
The original ChinaBrandPath guide covers beauty and personal care, consumer electronics, electric mobility, home appliances and smart living, food and beverage, and lifestyle or specialty retail. Category fit is a discovery filter, not proof that a named brand has an open appointment.
Does a public form mean my country is open?
No. It proves that a contact route exists, not that the territory is unassigned or that the brand will accept the proposed channel.
Should I ask for exclusivity in the first message?
Usually no. First establish product-market fit, landed economics, service capability and a controlled launch plan. Territory protection can then be tied to agreed performance and review conditions.
